DEEP Safe Boating Course - CT DEEP Boating course
PLEASE REGISTER WITH DEEP BEFORE USING THIS PAGE TO PAY THE FEE TO ENSURE CLASS REGISTRATION.This class is offered in 2 evenings, June 1 and June 3, from 5p -9p in Kobylenski Lodge at Camp Coch. You must attend both classes. A $25 fee is payable at the Recreation Department in advance, online below, or the day of with cash or check, payable to Town of Goshen. Successful completion of the class qualifies a person to purchase for $50 their Certificate of Personal Watercraft Operation (CPWO) on the Online Sportsmen Licensing System. The CPWO allows an individual to operate any recreational vessel up to 65ft. including a personal watercraft. Please check age restrictions for operating vessels with engines greater than 10 horsepower, personal watercraft, and water skiing. This class includes the Safe Water ski Endorsement. These classes are a total of 8 hours long and include a proctored exam which will be administered and graded at the end of the class..
