Reading of the Declaration of Independence and 250 Celebration
Goshen will be participating in the nationwide reading of the Declaration of Independence on Wednesday, July 8 at 6pm. Our Town Clerk, Barbara Breor, will read the Declaration in the gazebo at the Goshen Fairgrounds to kick off our 250th Birthday Celebration. Gates open at 5:30pm, so come pick out your spot! We will gather at the gazebo for the reading at 6pm. A community picnic and celebration will follow until 8pm. Bring a picnic, snacks, chairs, blankets, friends, family, and neighbors! The American Legion will be providing hamburgers and hot dogs and cooking for the event!! We will have cornhole, frisbee golf, badminton, and other games or bring your own lawn game.
